Our owner and founder, Robert, has over 40 years of experience in concreting and construction and has been concreting since he was 15 years old. He noticed a gap in the market when he was looking for a concrete pump but wasn’t able to obtain one in his local area. From there, the idea sparked, and in 2000, Hunter Concrete Pump Hire was born.

Robert considers the business a generational business as his dad was a concreting professional and showed him the ropes when Robert was a child. From then on, Robert was enthralled in the construction industry and found his calling in life: hiring concrete pumps for small to large-scale operations. Cannot thank the blokes enough for their efforts on the day. They were very punctual and supportive throughout the pump. We started a little later in the day with the heat on us during the second half of the pour. Pete and Simmo kept up the pace and we brought the job home.
