Why Hunter Concrete Pumps

Concrete pumping isn’t one-size-fits-all. The soil conditions across the Hunter Valley vary widely, reactive clay soils in Maitland and Cessnock expand and contract with moisture, which means the slab design and pour method need to account for ground movement. Our line pumps handle residential slabs, driveways, footings and pool surrounds. They’re ideal for standard pours where the truck can get close to the site. We carry enough hose to reach most residential setups without needing to reposition.

Boom Pumps

For larger pours, commercial slabs, civil works, multi-storey builds, our boom pumps deliver high-volume concrete placement with precision. The boom reaches over obstacles, fences, and existing structures so the pour happens in one go without interruption.

Mini Pumps

A line pump feeds concrete through hoses laid along the ground, good for most residential pours. A boom pump has a hydraulic arm that lifts and places concrete from above, used for larger or harder-to-reach pours like multi-storey builds or sites with obstacles.

Yes. Our mini concrete pumps are built for exactly this. They fit through standard gates and can pump concrete to rear extensions, pools, retaining walls and any site a standard truck can’t reach.
