Concrete Pump Hire — Hunter Valley & Newcastle
Line Pumps, Boom Pumps & Mini Pumps for Every Pour
Need a concrete pump? Whether it’s a house slab in Maitland, a driveway in Lake Macquarie or a commercial pour in Newcastle — we’ve got the right pump and the crew to run it.
We’re based in Rutherford and cover the entire Hunter region. Our trucks carry line pumps, boom pumps and mini pumps so we can match the right machine to your site. Tight access? No worries — our mini pumps fit through standard gates and can pump to backyards, pools and extensions that bigger rigs can’t reach.
You get a fixed quote before we start, and our operators stay on site until the pour is done. Over 20 years of concrete pumping in the Hunter means we know the local conditions — from reactive clay in Cessnock to sandy coastal sites in Port Stephens.

WHY HUNTER CONCRETE PUMPS
Concrete pumping isn’t one-size-fits-all. The soil conditions across the Hunter Valley vary widely — reactive clay soils in Maitland and Cessnock expand and contract with moisture, which means the slab design and pour method need to account for ground movement. Closer to the coast, sandy soils in Port Stephens and Nelson Bay require different preparation again.
We work with builders, concreters and owner-builders who need a pump operator that understands these local conditions — not just someone who turns up with a truck.

OUR FLEET
Line Pumps
Our line pumps handle residential slabs, driveways, footings and pool surrounds. They’re ideal for standard pours where the truck can get close to the site. We carry enough hose to reach most residential setups without needing to reposition.
Boom Pumps
For larger pours — commercial slabs, civil works, multi-storey builds — our boom pumps deliver high-volume concrete placement with precision. The boom reaches over obstacles, fences, and existing structures so the pour happens in one go without interruption.
Mini Pumps
Our mini concrete pumps are purpose-built for tight access sites. If your concretor can’t get a standard truck close enough — narrow driveways, rear extensions, hillside blocks — the mini pump gets concrete where it needs to go without tearing up your property.
LOCAL KNOWLEDGE
We’ve pumped concrete on sites across the Hunter for over 20 years. That means we’ve dealt with the reactive clay soils around Maitland and the Lower Hunter, the flood-aware building requirements along the Hunter River floodplain, and the tight infill sites in Newcastle’s inner suburbs.
When you call us, we’ll ask about your site conditions, the slab design, and the volume of concrete. That way we turn up with the right pump, enough hose, and a crew that’s ready to go — no wasted time, no wrong equipment.

Concrete Pump Hire FAQS
It depends on the pump type, the volume of concrete, and the site location. A standard residential pour with a line pump starts from around $500-$800. Boom pumps cost more due to the size of the machine. Call us on 0419 252 930 for a quote — we give you a fixed price before the job.
A line pump feeds concrete through hoses laid along the ground — good for most residential pours. A boom pump has a hydraulic arm that lifts and places concrete from above — used for larger or harder-to-reach pours like multi-storey builds or sites with obstacles.
Yes. Our mini concrete pumps are built for exactly this. They fit through standard gates and can pump concrete to rear extensions, pools, retaining walls and any site a standard truck can’t reach.
We’re based in Rutherford and cover Newcastle, Maitland, Cessnock, Singleton, Muswellbrook, Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Nelson Bay and surrounding areas across the Hunter Valley.
