Why a boom pump earns its keep on a commercial site

On a big pour the pump is not the expensive part, the standing time is. A crew waiting on concrete costs more per hour than the pump does, and a slab that goes off unevenly because placement was too slow costs more again.

A boom pump places concrete accurately, at volume, exactly where the crew needs it, without barrowing and without moving the truck around the site. On a large slab that is the difference between a pour that runs to plan and one that runs late.

Access is usually the reason we get called

Commercial and civil sites are rarely straightforward. Live sites with traffic management, pours over an existing structure, a slab on the far side of a building, deep excavations, overhead powerlines, or simply nowhere for an agitator to stand near the placement.

A boom reaches over all of it. We look at the site first and work out where the pump sits, what reach is needed and how the trucks will cycle through, before the day rather than on it.

It depends on the machine. Tell us the distance and the height you need to place at and we will send the right pump rather than one that will not quite make it.

Yes. Set up position, traffic management and truck cycling all get worked out beforehand.
